Unknown-224What they say:

‘“Will you marry me?” Isn’t that the question every girl dreams of hearing? Victoria certainly used to think so. And safe, steady Oliver seemed perfect husband material. But that was until she met Liam, his rebellious, scorchingly hot best friend. Suddenly Victoria’s feeling things – crazy lust-fuelled things! – she’s never felt before. But for the wrong guy… Then Oliver goes down on one knee and it’s decision time – head or hormones? But, whether she says yes or no, Victoria’s about to discover the truth about guys like Liam – once you go bad you never go back!’

What we say – review by Charlotte Foreman:

Author Natalie Anderson has taken everything that is right with the Mills & Boon formula and stuffed it into one book. Although involving the same two main characters, the book is actually split into two stories depicting the path Victoria’s and Liam’s lives take based on a major life decision. I’ll admit to being slightly confused on this at first (the transition between stories is not that clear) but once I realized, I was sold on the concept.

So the reader is essentially getting a BOGOF deal and it’s actually a pretty genius move by Anderson because this way we get to see two sides to each character. Victoria is fiercely determined to hold onto her independence and Liam is devastatingly charming throughout, natch, but it’s the toughness of their emotional veneers that really get explored. The words describing the chemistry and depth of feeling between the two build until passion and tension erupt into the reader’s mind, and there’s no doubt Victoria and Liam are meant to be.

Totally, thoroughly, utterly, completely addictive reading.
